In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and stains to the interior shelves, further marks and scratches to the front (pictured). There are losses to the drawer knobs and the columns beading, also three acorn motifs are missing from the frieze (pictured). The glass has age-related foxing in places and air bubbles, however remains intact. There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak housekeeper's cupboard remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Comes apart in two sections for ease of transport. Overall, a fantastic mid 19th century housekeepers cupboard.
