Description
Offered for sale is this 19th Century Venetian gilt wooded torchere converted into a standard lamp. Silk Half shade to top with twin light fitting. Lions feet ball and claw with church motif and other carvings to lower section. It was made in Rome.

All of our furniture is treated, fully restored and sealed before painting. We have established a high reputation for our choice of colours and finishes.
Using flat matt emulsion finished with a variety of waxes, this is combined with a sympathetic and authentic distressed finish appropriate to each selected piece.
We try to match the right colour to the material; whether pine, oak or mahogany and also to the style of the piece; whether country wear or town house living etc.
We now use only Farrow & Ball 'Dead Flat Matt' paint, a premium paint offered by the famous Farrow & Ball to provide the best matt finish in their incredible range of colours. The colour used on a particular piece of furniture will be in the item description.
