Antique French Rosewood Bookcase Cabinet Marble Top

This is an elegant 19th Century French antique bookcase cabinet in attractive rosewood with good quality bronze ormolu mounts, dating from around 1870. The cabinet is glazed to the front and sides with tasteful gilt metal grille panels and has a working lock and key to the doors. The glazed panels are all mounted in the cabinet with a decorative solid bronze beading. There are four adjustable shelves internally and this is raised on curved cabriole legs adorned with ormolu mounts.
