Art Deco 18ct Gold Sapphire Diamond Ring

Stunning Art Deco Style 18ct Gold Sapphire Diamond Ring. Classic, beautiful ring with a large deep dark royal blue sapphire measuring 7mmx 6mm. Besides the sapphire are 6 round cut diamonds bright and sparkly and in a lovely milligrain setting, each diamond is about 3 points. Very attractive ring designed in a classical art deco style, would make a fantastic engagement ring. Set in good strong 18ct gold band and stamped for 18ct, there are many fine details in the gold setting. This ring possibly dates to the art deco period but it is more likely to be a later copy of an art deco ring as it is in such good condition and the workmanship seems more modern. There is no date stamp. The ring face of the ring measures 16mm x 7mm. Well made ring in very good condition, a tiny nibble to the edge of the sapphire which can only be seen under magnification.
