very handsome tavern clock / wall clock by H Pidduck & Sons Manchester circa 1870
beautifully figured flame mahogany case with decorative moulding details, shaped trunk door, painted face with roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and bearing the makers name.
the 8 day two train driven movement ( which has been fully cleaned and serviced ) strikes the hour on a bell.
in good working order through out, this super quality clock needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
