We are selling this much sought after watch for a family friend who was bequeathed it by their late grandfather. Although famous for its association with aircraft pilots, the Navitimer was also a firm favourite of Formula 1 racing drivers including Graham Hill and Jim Clark. This late example is in excellent condition, the reverse panda dial features the twin jet logo and is correctly signed Brietling Genève. The 41mm stainless steel case is in outstanding condition as is the milled edge bezel. We were informed that the watch was only ever worn on special occasions, spending most of its life locked in a safe. The Venus 178 manual winding chronograph movement runs exactly as it should with all functions working, and is offered for sale with 12 months guarantee. This is a very nice example of a famous vintage time piece that wears exceptionally well now.
