This is a pair of antique baluster vases. Japanese, cloisonné flower urn in Meiji taste, dating to the 19th Century period, circa 1850. Delightfully charming vases with sweet foliate and bird motif displaying a desirable aged patina - one aged repair present. Cool tactile cloisonné presents a green ground. Darker green and brown bands adorn the rim and foot. Each vase represents a small bird amongst a flowering bush. This is an appealing pair of antique baluster vases, with a charming Japanese decorative finish in cloisonné. Delivered ready to display.
