Mary Ridley Ashford initially embarked to Bef France 16/08/14 as part of the Civil Hospital Reserve as a Staff Nurse and was later transferred to the Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service (Reserve) as a Sister. 1914 Star to Miss M.R. Ashford and British War Medal and Victory Medal to Sister M.R. Ashford. Tippet Badge (also referred to as Cape Fob) hallmarked silver Birmingham 1915. Shown as serving in 10 Gen Hosp, 14 Stat Hosp, 25 Gen Hosp, 7 C.C.S., 49 C.C.S., 24 Gen Hosp & 22 C.C.S. Copies of Mic, Medal Rolls and Service Record Included
