A fine and impressive antique 2.14 carat diamond and 9 carat yellow gold bar brooch; part of our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique diamond bar brooch has been crafted in 9 ct yellow gold. This impressive brooch displays an impressive feature 0.76 ct Old European cut diamond six claw set to the centre of the bar. The terminal at the either end of the bevel edged bar is ornamented with an individually claw set Old European cut diamond, weighing 0.68ct and 0.70ct. This fine example of Victorian jewellery secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and C clasp. This antique diamond bar brooch is fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior and securing with a push fit catch. The interior of the cover features the retailer's mark 'By appointment to Her Majesty the Queen, silversmiths & jewellers, Carrington & Co Ltd, 130. Regent St W.1.'. A contemporary gift box may be provided if so desired. This 1900's brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct gold. This original antique bar brooch is supplied with three independent diamond grading certificates for the feature diamonds.
