Description

Antique 19th Century oil on canvas of a Sheep Dog herding Sheep in a wooded area. Signed with the initials W G to the lower right hand corner. The oil painting is in great condition and is vibrant in its colours. To the reverse of the Wooden framing of the canvas, there is writing in pencil which I believe to say Houghwood or roughwood get together. The painting has been reframed with a later frame attached to a frame of the similar age as the painting itself. Both frames have been gilded to match. Which from the front does look great.
