Antique 9ct Yellow Gold Watch Chain Circa 1910

The Albert chain is composed of long links conjoined with circular links, incorporating a T-bar suspended from a rounded jump ring. The chain is fitted to one end with a swivel clasp and to the opposing end with a spring-loaded ring clasp. By virtue of its length, this impressive example of antique jewellery may be worn as a necklace, alternatively the chain may be wrapped multiple times around the wrist to be worn as a bracelet. The chain is hallmarked with the fineness mark for 9ct gold (9c, 9, .375).
