This is an antique country house log burner. An English, cast iron estate made fire grate, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.
Delightfully hand crafted fireplace log grate with charming form that displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order. Cast iron presented with a good, consistent graphite finish. Integrated burning rack and andirons ideal for long logs. Attractive serpentine andirons with demi-lune arched feet.
This is a fascinating antique country house log burner, with a pleasing appearance and hand crafted finish. Delivered ready for the fireplace.
