Soft palette finely knotted Isfahan rug, light butterscotch ground colour with central medallion and floral arrangements. In subtly worn country house condition. It has been hand washed (see last images). End and side losses but tidied up immensely with side protecting tape to rear. All of the "look" for not a lot of money. priced accordingly. Wool pile hand knotted onto fine cotton foundation threads with the wefts dyed light blue. Don't like the distressed look,have plenty of rugs non-distressed.
