Antique Solid Walnut Small Double Bed / 19th Century

This is a lovely antique solid walnut small double bed c.1840. This type of bed is called “boat” due to its particular shape and it was created to be placed against the wall. The bed takes a standard small double mattress. It is in very good antique condition. It comes with a slatted wooden base. The bed has the most fabulous original patina of years of polishing and looks lovely. It is really solid in construction. This is a quality bed that is full of age, charm and character.
