This exceptional and rare antique Victorian cast sterling silver pepperette has been realistically modelled in the form of a pug.
This impressive and rare pepper shaker is embellished with details reproducing the dog's anatomical features and fur.
This exceptional example of silver cruets retains the original fully hallmarked push fit cover/head which features pierced 'pepper' holes to the upper portion.
This impressive antique pepperette was crafted by the renowned London silversmith George Fox.
Such unusual and rare models are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.

This antique sterling silver pug pepperette is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The cast decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the dog's chest and part hallmarks to the sleeve of the cover/head are all very clear.
