Art Deco 1920's Evans Gold Mesh & Jewelled Filigree Flapper Vanity Purse Powder & Rouge Compact

Here we have a most glamorous art deco flapper era vanity purse that hangs a maximum of 16cm in length excluding the gold mesh wrist cord which adds a further 12cm to the overall length. The vanity purse body is made of lovely gold mesh with a scalloped mesh fringe. The hinged lid has wonderful domed filigree design accented with foliage and ruby red cut and faceted glass stones as well as faux seed pearls. the lid has a firm hinge and secure catch and lifts up to access the lined purse interior, to the underside of the lid is another hinge door which opens to reveal the interior compartments with hinged door for the powder which retains it's original Evans marked puff. The hinged double sided polished metal mirror is clear and reflective and also acts as the divider and door to a further compartment for pressed rouge. This contains a full godet of bright pink pressed rouge and another puff.
