A very elegant Sheraton revival cylinder desk, dating from the early 20th century c.1910.
With rosewood crossbanding to the cylinder front, top and drawer fronts.
The cylinder opens up to reveal a fitted interior, incorporating pigeon holes and two useful small mahogany drawers. With pull-out solid mahogany writing surface.
Lovely gilt-brass handles. Standing on square tapering supports with castors.
Solid sturdy and strong.
In excellent antique condition, minor general signs of use.
