Description
Edwardian silver snuff box which is in a superb quality and condition, not flimsy, very clearly hallmarked for Chester 1904 by Cohen & Charles. Beautiful, gilded interior, scrolling border. The lid is engraved with Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths crest and a banner with the motto ‘By Hammer & Hand All Arts Do Stand’. Measures 2½ inches (6cm) wide and is remarkable condition. All my photos are taken using natural light only.
