Gents 1950s Avia Wrist Watch

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and lugs. The case is chrome plated, there is a little rubbing in places. The screw-on case back is stainless steel. It is signed Avia, and it also states that the watch is water and dust resisting although, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture The lens is in lovely condition. The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and red centre seconds hand. There is some marking across the dial but still easy to read the time. A new leather strap has been fitted.
