Gents 1970s Avia-matic Automatic Wrist Watch

The watch has a 17-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is the odd minor mark to the plate but overall the condition is good for a 70s piece. The case back states that the watch is water resistant but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The lens is in good condition. The dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and date display. Quickset date (initially set at second position). A new leather strap has been fitted.
