Description
This is an attractive Coalport tea cup & saucer with an oriental style pattern in underglaze blue with white reserves and richly decorated with gilt. Bute shape with simple strap handle and recessed well to the saucer. Unmarked, c.1810.
measurements
The cup measures 6cm (2 3/8") high and 7.8cm (3") rim to rim. The saucer measures 14.3cm (5 5/8") wide and 2cm (3/4") high.

The Fancy Fox has clarified that the Georgian Coalport Porcelain Bute Shape Tea Cup & Saucer c.1810 (LA469883) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1810
condition
In very good condition with no damage or repair. The saucer is very finely crazed with some light discolouration to the reverse and very fractionally in the centre. Some light handling wear to the gilt on the cup, mainly to the rim.
