This is a very high quality piece of furniture from 1920s. Solid oak and breaks into two halves for easy transportation.
The galleried top gives way to a carved frieze, above three astragal glazed doors all set with bevelled glass. Another carved frieze separates from the three lower cupboard doors, which are all set with a bold octagonal frame, all carved to correspond with the upper friezes. The central cupboard has fitted drawers with super polished nickel handles. The stretchered base has four made to take the overall weight of the bookcase. All the doors still retain their original cast brass handles and all the keys are present for the working locks.
A heavy piece of quality furniture that will be offered with free UK mainland delivery.
