Martlesham Antiques is a family run business and has been trading since 1984. We are located in Suffolk just outside Woodbridge and is run from a spacious thatched cottage housing nine large showrooms with a vast adjacent car park. Specialising in 18th and 19th century furniture, together with creating custom hand-made furniture which is supplied to various interior designers, trade and the retail market. Every piece on the showroom floor is in excellent condition and ready to go straight into the buyers home or premises. All of Martlesham Antiques furniture is hand polished by their own French polishers and restorers to a very high standard. We are also a member of LAPADA, the association of art and antiques.

Description
A pair of early 19th Century mahogany library / writing tables of exhibition quality, the tops having a black leather writing surface decorated with gilt and blind tooling, with pull out writing slides either end also with a black leather in the same design as the top, the top having a double edge with finely carved detail in the centre, three oak lined drawers below with original brass handles and escutcheons, the drawer fronts having carved bead decoration, carved corner brackets of floral design, the back of the tables having faux drawers and in the same manner as the front, supported on superb quality turned and reeded legs terminating on brass cap and castors.
These tables are of exceptional quality and have a lovely warm mahogany colour.
