The watch has a good quality 17-jewel stem-winding movement, grade 244, which is working nicely. The movement has beautifully patterned plates, Moseley patent regulator, Breguet hairspring and screw-set jewels. The movement has the serial number 10,499,042 which dates it back to around 1904. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1927 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison, an English watch case maker. The case is in good condition. The case and movement are not original to each other but they look as though they have been together for a long time, and they sit very well. The glass lens has minor marking but is very acceptable. The signed dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All Prices Include UK Postage.
