Description
Tall antique decorative giltwood mirror with a signed oil painting on the top section some other wonderful features.
It’s very hard to show a good image of this mirror & to convey the large proportions. It looks far better in real life, so please enlarge all the images to appreciate the features.
It has outside panelled mirrors plus the main one in the middle & in between, are plain painted panels. There’s a magnificent painting on the top of winged cherubs which is signed (see image) & there are floral swags across the top of the mirror. This mirror is very high at just under 9 feet & won’t fit under our shop ceiling, however, it can be viewed in our warehouse. It’s in good original condition & I would date it to around the 1860-80’s period.
