Victorian Clerks Walnut High Chair c.1890

This is an antique 19th Century solid walnut Clerk's high chair which was probably used in the textile industry. This chair abounds with character and is of heavy construction with all the joints being dowelled mortise and tenon. The legs and stretchers have beautiful chamfered edges which give it a greater appeal, as does the extended foot rest.
