Sitzendorf Factory - Maker

Founded by Wilhelm Liebman in 1850 in the German town of Sitzendorf this German porcelain company became famous around the world for its finely modelled and decorated porcelain figures. With great attention to detail and usually with characters dressed in 18th Century clothing, Sitzendorf pieces are very much in the romantic rococo style. Production continued mostly unhalted through to 2012 and is prized among collectors for its quality and finely crafted detail.
