Art Deco 1920s Enamel Pendant Powder Compact with Female Silhouette

On offer is this fine art deco pendant powder compact which dates circa 1920 and measures approx. 4.5 cm in diameter. The compact is made of white metal with off white enamel base. The sides are white metal and the inset lid has a wonderful female silhouette design in black contrasting with the off white enamel ground. The case has a bale and ring at the top so that the compact could be attached to a chain or chatelaine. The lid has firm hinge and catch and opens to reveal the original framed convex mirror under the lid. The powder well in the base is empty. This charming art deco powder compact is offered in good condition with no dents or dings to the case and no damage to the enamel surfaces.
