Oval Silver Box with Painted Cabochon - Birmingham 1909

Oval silver box with painted cabochon. Unusual little box with a painted cabochon of an oriental scene in sepia colours. Hall marked for Birmingham 1909 by the silversmiths Cornelius Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd. Measures 2½ inches wide, in good used condition. Has one or two tiny dings to the underneath (see images). Our ref 9468
