Art & Stuff is a shop in Abingdon on Thames, about 5 miles from Oxford. I specialise in original artworks - mainly traditional watercolours and oil paintings but I also have a range of contemporary artworks which are mostly limited edition lithographic prints. My website has a gallery section where many of my items are shown, including heavier items which are not easy to post! I welcome browsers to my shop which is open Thursday to Saturday. I also stock antiques and collectables of all kinds including contemporary studio pottery and glassware. I also look out for the weird and quirky!

A colourful and detailed lithographic print of the interior of a very large conservatory- possibly Kew?- by contemporary artist Arthur Byrne. Byrne is well known for his interest in gardens and conservatories. American by birth, Byrne seems to have many British subjects and has exhibited here in Serpentine Gallery amongst others. He teaches lithography and was a founding member of the Charlotte Press group of printmakers, said to be the foremost group of lithographic artists in Europe in the early 1970s. This is a limited edition print, no. 82/200 and is presented in a green mottled frame with gilded inside edge and double mount in grey and pink, which perfectly complements the image. This makes a nice pair with my other Byrne print "Conservatory 2" which is identically framed.
