Neave Parker spent most of his working life at the Natural History Museum in London, where he was engaged mainly on the reconstruction of dinosaurs. He illustrated a number of books and articles on prehistoric animals. This is from a small edition of colour linocuts /woodcuts of world animals all tipped on to a backing sheet and originally sold as a folio.'

A Picture Book of Linocuts' 'originally an album containing twenty good quality colour linocuts of animals and insects, signed in pencil, folio dated 1937, (350 x 240mm + mount and frame) He was infamous for very small limited editions of ten or under.

All are pencil signed, framed and include postage £225 inc delivery less collected.


Heatons has clarified that the Kingfisher Colour Woodcut by Neave Parker (HEA/kingfisher / LA116178) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1937.


From the folio so no foxing/fading or damage. The rest of the set are on light paper ripple top right as not laid down. Last picture in daylight
