FAB LARGE ORIGINAL SIGNED ANTIQUE VICTORIAN LANDSCAPE STREET SCENE OIL PAINTING
A beautiful large original signed Oil on Board painting depicting a bustling Victorian City street scene.
The fabulous painting portrays life during the 19th Century period, with local folk dressed in period dress and going about their daily lives.
The Victorian buildings are portrayed in spectacular detail and each time the painting is viewed it appears to show something new.
In the distance a tall church or Cathedral can be seen. The days sun rays illuminate the image throughout the street and trees wonderfully.
The painting is signed lower left corner 'R. Bernard'.
We have not researched the artist, but it is clear to see that he/she was a very talented hand indeed.
Mounted within a Decorative Antique style gilt frame which suits the painting beautifully.
