'A. KING' FINE 1958 POST WAR RAILWAY STEAM TRAIN LANDSCAPE WATERCOLOUR PAINTING
A beautiful original signed 20th Century post-war Watercolour Painting depicting a passenger Steam Train within a fabulous Country landscape setting.
The marvellous painting was executed by:
It is signed and dated by the artist lower left corner A King, 1958
The wonderful image portrays the period passenger Steam train hurtling along an old rail track, possibly a location within the Lake District or Wales.
The train driver can be seen peering out of the engine room, whilst in the distance, old electricity pylons and rolling hills rise majestically throughout the landscape.
The attention to detail throughout the work is gorgeous and it appears to show something new each time it is viewed.
The painting is in fantastic original condition, having been mounted within the original glazed, ebony and gilt frame since the 1950s.

Our Fine Art Listing Terminology & Qualifiers
When a listing's heading reads ''by'' and is followed by the artist's full name (or the artist's initials, if his full name is unrecorded), the work is in our opinion by the artist.
When the term ''signed by'' is used, in our opinion the work has been signed by the artist.
When the expression "attributed to" is used, the work is in our opinion possibly a work by the artist, in whole or in part.
When the expression ''circle of'' is used, the work is in our opinion a work of the period of the artist and showing his influence.
When the expression ''follower of'' is used, the work is in our opinion a work executed in the artist's style but not necessarily by a pupil.
When the expression ''manner of'' is used, the work is in our opinion a work executed in the artist's style but of a later date.
When the term "after" is used, the work is in our opinion a copy or imitation (of any date) of a work by the artist.
When the term ''bears signature'' is used in our opinion the signature is by a hand other than that of the artist.
