IMPECCABLE LARGE ORIGINAL 20thc CONTINENTAL SUNSET FISHING SEASCAPE OIL PAINTING
A truly fabulous large mid 20th Century Oil on Board Seascape painting depicting 2 fishermen in their vessels talking beneath a stunning Sunset sky.
The hugely impressive piece dates to Circa 1950-1960, and it is mounted within a marvellous quality, heavy, Gilt scrolled show-frame.
The piece is signed by the artist lower right corner but we can not quite make out the signature, although it appears to read something like Remotchi?
The attention to detail throughout the painting is superb!
The magnificent very realistic portrayal of the Sunset skyline, the reflections bouncing off from the waves, the intricate detail of the fishing vessels, and the lifelike landscape beyond is really very special indeed.
A truly phenomenal Oil Painting and a treasure to behold!
The painting is 100% original throughout.
Both painting and frame are offered in an overall beautiful condition commensurate with age.
There are a few minute areas of paint loss to the upper section of the painting (see images), but this tiny imperfection does not detract from the wonderful character and is mentioned more so for accuracy.

When the expression "attributed to" is used, the work is in our opinion possibly a work by the artist, in whole or in part.
When the expression ''circle of'' is used, the work is in our opinion a work of the period of the artist and showing his influence.
When the expression ''follower of'' is used, the work is in our opinion a work executed in the artist's style but not necessarily by a pupil.
When the expression ''manner of'' is used, the work is in our opinion a work executed in the artist's style but of a later date.
When the term "after" is used, the work is in our opinion a copy or imitation (of any date) of a work by the artist.
When the term ''bears signature'' is used in our opinion the signature is by a hand other than that of the artist.
