Description

This is a very fine 19th Century antique rosewood 5 ins dial barometer by Francis Amadio of 118 St John Street, London, silvered dial, thermometer, hygrometer, spirit level, having a swan neck pediment with a brass finial.

Maker F.Amadio. 118, St John road. London:-

Francis Amadio (1820-1844) 10 St John Street from 1820 till 1828 then moved to 118 St John Street 1829 -1844.In partnership for some years with his son, possibly F Amadio of 63 Moorgate London...when they became Amadio and Son.
