Description

Good early 19th century George III mahogany veneered tea caddy. All sides including the back are inlaid with boxwood stringing and cross banded in mahogany. The front has an inlaid boxwood escutcheon. The caddy is all original inside with both original lids with turned ebony knobs. The caddy has its original hinges and lock. The box is a lovely colour with original patination and waxed finish.
