Navisford Collectables was established to further my interest in antiques and collectables. The name comes from the Nene valley in Northamptonshire but Navisford Collectables now finds its home here at Widworthy Court, near Honiton in Devon. This is where you will find the majority of the items I have listed here and perhaps one or two others. I would be delighted to show them to you personally. Please call me to make an appointment. I look forward to hearing from you Nigel

Description

These fine Royal Crown Derby porcelain dessert plates were crafted at the Osmaston Road factory in the first years of the 20th Century. They each carry a red printed date and factory mark for 1906 and incised 'Derby', together with pattern number '5030', close to the rim of their undersides.

Each of the flower head shaped plates (there are four 22 cm diameter plates in this lot), has a raised cobalt blue and gilt rim to edge the crisp white Derby porcelain. This provides the backdrop to a central hand painted spray of summer flowers, hand painted in the manners of the famous Derby artist Albert Gregory, all within a green foliate meander and a second gilt line.
