This is a 19th Century French, probably Paris antique porcelain dessert dish of circular form decorated with a group of anemones and a single butterfly, hand-painted in bright enamel colours. The base of the dish bears an incised spiral mark.
The plate measures 8 1/4 inches in diameter.
Roger Stretch Antiques has clarified that the French Dessert Dish (1819 / LA155279) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1820.
In excellent, original, sound condition with no wear to the decoration.
