The collaboration of Interior Designer Martina Reitbauer and Ardent Gatherer Wayne Lawless brings to you an exciting and ever evolving selection of items for your home which do not have the constraints of a particular era, no onus on any particular style or a brand agenda to respect. We are very fortunate that we can call on the assistance of skilful enthusiastic craftsmen whom we can trust to give us sound advice and deliver a first class service. Without these guys our business would be very difficult, less stimulating and more importantly less enjoyable. We choose to source across the UK believing that the British Isles offers a splendid mix of fine quality, true eccentricity, creative design and exceptional craftsmanship which very few can equal, whether it be an 18th century bank of drawers or a pair of 1970s gilded light fittings.

Description

A nice “lived in” pair of oak chairs with leather seats finished with tarnished studs. Both chairs are evenly worn with an elbow rubbing glow to the arms and knocks and bumps to the frames giving them a pleasing time worn feel.

The chairs are a mix of bent and turned oak which is of a medium tone with the chestnut coloured leather seats mixing in well. We have given the chairs a clean, conditioned the leather and lightly waxed the frames – preferring to leave them in as much of a found condition as possible, rather than stripping down.

A perfect match for desks, snugs or a roaring fire!

Established in 2011, we take pleasure in working for private and commercial clients in the sourcing of single pieces though to full interior design www.malersykes.com

We appreciate that sometimes you may wish to touch and see a piece in the flesh before purchasing, if this is the case please call or email us to make an appointment (Monday – Saturday 9am-9pm). We are happy to take calls to answer any questions or if you wish to make a payment via the phone on 01283 617377.
