This is a magnificent 19th Century Victorian antique mahogany and caned childs bergere high chair with scroll arms. The chair has a footrest and a restraining bar and a turned crossover underframe uniting the legs that is also used for attaching the chair to the base. Raised on a solid mahogany stand with turned front legs and sabre back legs.
It converts into a highchair, but when separated it is used as a table and chair.
