Description

This is a rare teak corner chair made by the Hughes Bolckow shipbreaking company, from teak taken from HMS Powerful when broken up c.1924. Plaque to rear of chair. Old repair as per photo.

HMS POWERFUL was built in 1895 and took a part in the relief of Ladysmith in 1900.
