Condition

Overall this handsome piece is in usuable condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use and would benefit from some restoration work. There is some scuffing, knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall a little faded. There are some areas of wood loss, and some cracking, chipping and loss to the veneers and inlay. There is some staining and scratching to the top. There are some areas of old repair and restoration. There is a wood shrinkage split to the right-hand side. There is some heavier cracking to the front legs, which would benefit from repair.
