This is a 19th Century French antique mahogany chest of drawers in the Louis Philippe style, with grey marble top. Consisting of four long drawers, standing on block feet, with half columns decorated with gilt brass mounts. The top drawer has a gilt mount depicting a cherub being pulled across water by two mermaids.

Oakfield Gallery has clarified that the French Mahogany Chest of Drawers (1440 / LA94299) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1850.
Good general condition. A few repairs around the feet and one repaired split to one side of the carcass.
