Description

Antique quality Georgian / Regency caddy top mahogany chest of drawers. This is a lovely chest, that is full of age, charm and character. Lovely historic waviness to the drawer fronts.

Solid, strong and heavy, with no woodworm.

No loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely (old blue paper in the drawer bottoms).

Full of age charm and character, with fantastic period ormolu lions mask handles (replacement).

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.

Declaration

Prior & Willis Antiques has clarified that the Georgian / Regency caddy top mahogany chest of drawers (4182 / LA31557) is antique and it's date/period of manufacture is 1820.

Condition

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Old blue lining paper with marks and stains to the insides of the drawers as usual. There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested.
