Description

A very smart late 18th Cent longcase clock with unusual flashing eyes to the dial arch. The case is veneered in well figured mahogany and is in lovely unrestored condition and a lovely colour. The trunk door is warped but this is not too noticeable. The good quality 5 pillar movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a very smart brass dial with silvered chapter ring. To the arch is a painting of a Latin lady with automaton eyes flashing in time with the pendulum swing.

The movement is in excellent order and has been serviced.
