Offered for sale is this charming early 20th century inlaid mahogany non-striking mantle clock with a French movement. The clock is of relatively small proportions measuring only 6 inches tall and 8 ½ inches wide. The movement is marked, ‘France’ and is working well and keeping good time.
Brunswick Antiques has clarified that the Edwardian inlaid mahogany mantle clock with French movement (t419 / LA152988) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1905.
The clock has been thoroughly cleaned and the mahogany exterior has been lightly sanded back and refinished with wax polish. Overall, this is a nice clean example in very good condition throughout.
