Description

A very rare small Regency Period wall clock with an 8 inch dial. For every 1000 standard 12' dial clocks there must be only one or two of this lovely small size. It is by Purvis of 1 North Audley Street, Grosvenor Square, London. He is listed as working there from 1810 to 1845.

The case is in mahogany with some nice brass inlay. It has a quality cast brass bezel and convex glass.

The 8 day fusee movement has shaped plates and fine blued steel spade hands.
