Description

This Georgian sterling silver beaker was made by the famous silversmiths Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard and hallmarked in London 1779.

It is in very good condition with no repair or damage. As one would expect it has been made with a heavy gauge of silver and has a plain body with two bands of reeded decoration. The attractive handle is securely fixed and hallmarks are clearly struck.

A fine beaker from these excellent Georgian silversmith.
