Description
This 19th Century Georgian antique jelly glass has been hand blown and cut. The flared funnel bowl has fine facet cutting to the sides and sits above a bladed knop and a wide conical foot with a ground out pontil mark to the underside.

Wessex House Antiques has clarified that the Facet Cut Jelly Glass c.1810 (LA134053) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1810
condition
There is a slight anomaly in the foot caused by the glass cooling before the maker had finished working and this leads to a small burst bubble on the foot rim (see last photo).These defects were all in place from time of manufacture and otherwise the glass is in excellent condition.
