Description

William IV Policeman’s Truncheon. A great piece of social history, the baton has a slightly shaped grip handle, the lower part is painted in Red and the upper part has a Blue Background with the Lion crested Crown cypher for WR IV

A good honest piece unrestored piece, it is 19” and 1.5” diameter.

Elmgarden has clarified that the William IV policeman’s truncheon (TCE136 / LA96067) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 19th Century.
